Richard – Director
The front man and sole owner of First Event, Richard is the driving force in expanding the business. With an ‘anything is possible’ attitude he has been successful in forging many new client relationships across all industry sectors. A hard negotiator Richard is always pushing people to try and produce programmes that are bigger, better and a million times more impressive than the rest!

Andy – Consultant
A former Director and founder of First Event, Andy is exceptionally proud of the business he has successfully built. With over 35 years experience, he is well respected in the industry and has formed an abundance of strong supplier relationships in worldwide destinations – sometimes its not what you know but who you know and this is certainly a major benefit to our clients.

Carolyn – Operations Director
Responsible for several major accounts, Carolyn is highly experienced and an expert in the operational side of events. Be it a large overseas conference, action packed incentive or glamorous film premier, the attention to detail goes above and beyond client’s expectations to guarantee success. When the unthinkable happens and yes, there are some stories, Carolyn demonstrates a brilliance under pressure and finds a solution.

Gill – Account Manager/ PA to Directors
More than 20 years in the industry, and a founding member of First Event. Extensively travelled, Gill has accompanied endless events all over the world and has many long standing client relationships. Versatility is a key strength, one minute Gill can be preparing new proposals and event material, the next escorting guests on a trip and the next organising the Directors – a particularly invaluable talent!

Jo – Account Manager
Having explored the world as a young backpacker Jo has always been enthusiastic and passionate about travel and ultimately knew it was the only vocation. Known as the creative one, Jo has a flair for event branding - from the infancy proposal stages to the guest itineraries and luggage labels, nothing is forgotten to ensure your event has a real and memorable identity.

Angie – Business House Manager
The super efficient manager of the Business House team. Angie is quick thinking, reliable and willing to go the extra mile to meet client’s corporate travel needs, and sometimes even their special personal holiday requests too! An expert with the in-house reservations systems Angie is the ever faithful source we turn to when it seems impossible to find a flight routing, accommodation availability or sort out a visa for a client travelling tomorrow.

Richard S – Business Travel Executive
Our very own oracle in the Business House team, Richard supports the theory that age is only a way of thinking but experience is priceless. Extensively travelled, even to some countries which no longer exist, his wisdom of the world and how to get there is his invaluable strength. Along with Richard’s long standing client relationships, he currently manages our specialist marine travel sector.

Anita – Business Travel Executive
With over 35 years experience in business and retail travel, there are very few locations that Anita hasn’t booked a flight, accommodation or rail travel to or from. The varied nature of her role demands flexibility and a savvy know-how to get the best for client’s, often within a tight timescale.

Lucy – Business Travel Executive
The young and lively member of the team, Lucy has a keenness and strong appetite to make her mark in business travel. Having recently graduated with an industry recognised degree, Lucy has brought to the company a fresh approach that compliments and enhances our traditional Business House working methods.

Adie – Accounts Manager
The First Event's financial wizard, Adie keeps control of the company's accounts. Perhaps not the typical number crunching type, she is strong willed, outgoing and always the first on the dance floor at team evenings out!

Ruth – Senior Business Travel Executive
The newest member of the team, Ruth joined us at the beginning of May 08. Ruth has worked in the industry since 1995 during which she has gained vast knowledge working in the business, retail and corporate travel sectors along with experience in holidays afloat! Another invaluable addition to First Event and great personality to compliment the team.
