Our client required a stand-out gala evening to end their 200th year celebrations with a bang, whilst also highlighting some of the company's key messages and rewarding colleagues who'd provided an outstanding service. The event was also required to focus on the future of the business as it enters its third century of trading.
As a culmination to our client's bicentenary celebrations, we pulled together a spectacular event at Birmingham Town Hall. The event included performances and appearances by a variety of exciting celebrity guests, which highlighted the exclusivity and significance of the evening and what it stood for.
Guests enjoyed a relaxed drinks reception upon arrival, before receiving a celebratory brochure and moving through to the auditorium, where the main event took place. Guests were entertained by presenter, Patrick Kielty, who interviewed executive company members and introduced other acts including Birmingham's poet laureate, Matt Windle - who recited a poem written about the history of the business and its local importance.
Other fantastic perfomances came from electronic string quartet, Escala; magician, David Penn, and ended with a phenomenal set from multi award-winning musical artist and influencer, Beverly Knight. The night also saw 100 colleagues honoured for their service and dedication.
The event was a brilliant success, and on top of rewarding staff and celebrating a milestone anniversary, over £200,000 was raised for charity partners, Bowel & Cancer Research, as well as other local projects.
