Austria ski incentive

Event: Mayrhofen Ski Incentive

Industry: Manufacturing

Destination: Austria

Event objectives:

Our construction industry client rewards their top customers with a ski trip each year. The aim is to encourage repeat business and build strong working relationships.

The trip’s event management was awarded to First Event for their excellent customer feedback and word-of mouth recommendation.

With Mayrhofen, Austria selected historically as the destination of choice, it was up to the First Event team to source a fantastic hotel, handle all booking requirements and plan a great itinerary allowing a good mixture of activities and networking time.

Requirements from the client meant that the trip had to be primed for social networking along with superb ski and après ski.

Event overview:

First Event looked after all administration of the trip incentive, meaning clients could simply look forward to travelling. First Event coordinated all activities, ski equipment rentals, travel and venue sourcing to ensure smooth running of the event.

The centrally located, Sporthotel Manni was the hotel of choice due to its proximity to the slopes, nightlife, excellent rooftop spa facilities and large bar area – a must for the clients and perfect for relaxing in, after a long day’s skiing. With a plan that allowed for leisure time in the day and arranged meets in the evenings, the guests had plenty of time to enjoy the snow sports or simply unwind in the hotel.

The evening get-togethers were great opportunities to network in a relaxed atmosphere. The unforgettable highlight of the trip was the experience at the Altitude Comedy Festival; the World’s No. 1 Alpine Comedy Festival. Pre-booked for the group by First Event, the client could ensure that their guests could see the world’s biggest names in comedy perform at one of Europe’s best ski resorts.

The Gala Dinner on the final night was buzzing and allowed our client to take Après Ski to another level. The awards ceremony celebrated everything from the ‘best skier’ to the ‘dirty stop out’.
