EVENT OBJECTIVES:

A results driven incentive to drive employee engagement, motivate sales teams and increase sustained sales performance. As part of a long-term ‘Platinum Club’ incentive scheme, the trip would act as a strategic sales tool to help the client’s sales team achieve their targets for their customers and for their territories.

EVENT OVERVIEW:

As a break away from traditional Platinum Club long haul incentives, the client’s 2018 trip rewarded the sales team with a short haul, 4-night stay in the stunning capital city of Tuscany, Florence.

Designed as a couple’s trip, the incentive reward took advantage of the city’s rich art and culture and delicious Tuscan cuisine. Activities included:

  • A guided walking and tasting tour
  • Vintage car rally in the Tuscan countryside
  • Amazing dinner venues and rooftop farewell dinner
  • Surprise Opera performance

First Event managed the complete incentive experience, and helped the client’s marketing team implement the long-term Platinum Club programme through consistent communications to delegates to drive sales targets.

RESULTS:

The Platinum Club was able to deliver incremental growth averaging 15-20% over a seven year period at an ROI in excess of 200%.

Satisfaction levels for sales team attendees has also consistently reached 95-100%, with the incentives making a significant contribution to improving our client’s business relationships and retaining key customers.
