EVENT: VIRTUAL KNOWLEDGE EXCHANGE
NO. OF DELEGATES: 1,000
A public hospital and healthcare organisation approached First Event after being let down last minute by another event management company.
The main objective for the event was to emphasise the importance of organisations working better together to prevent negative life experiences whilst creating a society that is more connected and healthy.
The Adversity, Trauma, and Resilience knowledge exchange event was set across three days and hosted on a bespoke event website created by First Event.
The website created gave delegates the option to explore the virtual event map before, during, and after the event to enhance their experience and encourage engagement. The event map included areas such as a photo booth and mosaic wall, a health and wellbeing area which provided video guides to mindfulness, links, and resources, meditation, and breathing techniques to help attendees relax and unwind.
The tailored map also included areas for the delegates to network, view speaker’s bios, and plan the sessions they wanted to attend.
Over the three-day event, there were 55 speaker sessions and 10 breakout sessions for the delegates to share knowledge and interact with each other virtually. All the sessions were recorded and uploaded to the event website for delegates to revisit up until the year 2030!
The on-demand content was an essential feature following the event as many delegates working in the healthcare industry need the flexibility to navigate back into the site at a time that suited them. Due to the fast turnaround, quality and success of the event, the client has asked us to work with them on their future virtual events!
