The client wanted this year’s iteration of their annual branch directors meeting to motivate their attendees, inspiring them to “go for gold”, and take charge of the future growth of their branches. To achieve this, we brought a strategic lens to the content creation and delivery of this event, crafting an engaging core message through which attendees would be inspired and educated on how to achieve their long term goals.

The Challenge

Against the context of a challenging year, the client came to us to elevate their conference experience format, to:

  • Help attendees identify the gaps between where they are and where they want to be.
  • Educate attendees on what a strong internal team looks like.
  • Make team members aware of the support that exists to help them achieve their goals.
  • Craft an immersive experience that would allow attendees to focus on their long-term objectives. 

 

 

 

The Solution

We designed a creative strategy focused on inspiration and action. Our approach included:

A cohesive theme: To resonate with the audience, we developed a football-themed event that used familiar language and visuals. We also created a structured content framework to ensure all speakers delivered key messages effectively.

Seamless pre-event coordination: We ensured attendees were aligned and excited before they arrived by creating a pre-event communication strategy that immersed participants in the conference vision.

A custom event app: We built a bespoke app to enhance engagement and extend the event’s impact. This tool played a crucial role in the conference, enabling Branch Directors to submit their 2025 commitments and goals. Other features included:

  • A customisable agenda.
  • Real-time updates.
  • Chat functions to foster interaction.
  • A content archive for ongoing access to key insights.

Dynamic AV production: We leveraged AV and production elements to create an engaging and seamless experience with:

  • Synchronised lighting that complemented real-time content.
  • A dynamic two-screen stage setup.
  • A seamless transition between the daytime conference and the evening awards ceremony.

The Results

By bringing a strategic and creative approach, we influenced not only the success of this conference but also the future of their branch meetings and relationships. Our impact extended beyond the event itself, driving meaningful long-term change, with an impressive 452 commitments submitted on the app by the attendees. Valuable insights from the debrief and submitted commitments have laid the foundation for the 2026 event strategy, driving the continued growth and success of the teams.
