Event objectives:

A food delivery organisation approached First Event in February to help plan and manage their first digital global conference in October 2021.
The client’s main objective for holding the conference was to bring their technical team together from across the globe in one inclusive space and host a combination of external and internal speaker sessions.

Event overview:

The conference was hosted on a bespoke event website created by First Event and was set across four days with twenty five  speaker sessions running in two concurrent streams.

Prior to the event registrants were able to log onto the site and create their own personalised agenda. This enabled them to engage with the sessions before the event had even begun.



 

As well as the speaker session streams, the event map also included other features of interest to increase the participant experience:



A photobooth

A digital mosaic wall

An area with on-demand content

A networking area

For attendees to share knowledge and interact with each other virtually.

A green room

Used by speakers to meet and practice their material.

A chat function

To allow interaction during the sessions and to enable participation in live Q&As.

Results:

Our client was delighted with the success of the conference and First Event received the following feedback:
