How did our event strategy turn insight into direction?
Our approach began with strategy. Before any creative concepts or conference design work, our team ran an in-depth strategy workshop with the client to dig into:
- The commercial pressures facing the business
- Shifts in customer behaviour across the sector
- The lived reality of Branch Directors on the ground
- And what they wanted to change and achieve as a result of this event
We immersed ourselves in their culture, language and leadership style, ensuring the conference spoke to Directors in a way that felt familiar, relevant and credible.
The event’s purpose became singular: help every Branch Director identify one clear growth move they could confidently take back to their branch.
How did ‘Own Your Growth’ shape the conference experience?
The theme ‘Own Your Growth’ became the backbone of the entire conference narrative.
We deliberately avoided anything that felt like traditional training. Instead, the conference was designed as a shared leadership experience; energising, collaborative and action-led.
Every element of the conference content laddered back to the same idea:
- Growth looks different for every branch
- There is no one-size-fits-all solution
- The power lies in knowing your edge and acting on it
Keynotes, workshops and breakouts were carefully crafted to reinforce the core message, with speakers fully aligned for maximum impact and cohesion. Real success stories made possibilities tangible, not theoretical. Every session ended in action, leaving each Director with a clear, personalised action plan to take back to their branch. The result was a strategic conference that built belief as much as it delivered insight.
How did event design and production create an immersive experience?
Set at Asia Gardens, Alicante, the event was designed as a two-day journey.
Day One was intentionally slower paced, creating space for connection and mindset shift. A welcome lunch, time at leisure or group activities, and a relaxed welcome dinner allowed attendees to step away from operational pressure and arrive mentally present.
Day Two delivered the core conference experience:
- A full day of high-impact conference content
- Breakouts and workshops designed around action, not theory
- High-profile speakers aligned to the event narrative
- An awards dinner and entertainment from comedian Scott Bennett
From stage design and bold screen content to venue branding and AV, the event production was confident, disruptive and unmistakably them. Every visual and physical touchpoint reinforced the message, surrounding attendees with the brand, the strategy and the energy of growth.
How did the conference drive action, accountability and impact?
Action was built into the conference from the very start. Using the event app, attendees set measurable growth targets, mapped out how they would achieve them, identified the support they needed and created accountability that extended beyond the event. The app became a powerful extension of the experience; centralising content, driving engagement and capturing real-time commitments.
346 attendees actively engaged with the app, submitting 347 growth commitments worth a combined £62,650,275 across key business categories. The impact was immediate, social media buzzed with Directors sharing how the messaging resonated, and the energy in the room translated into confidence and action. Momentum doesn’t stop there. Using the app data, we’ll track performance against these commitments over the next 12 months, giving a clear, measurable view of the event’s impact on business growth.
