Event objectives:

Our client required a stand-out anniversary gala dinner event to end their 200th year celebrations with a bang, whilst also highlighting some of the company’s key messages and rewarding colleagues who’d provided an outstanding service. The event was also required to focus on the future of the business as it enters its third century of trading.

 

 

 

Event overview:

As a culmination to our client’s bicentenary celebrations, we pulled together a spectacular event at Birmingham Town Hall. The anniversary event included performances and appearances by a variety of exciting celebrity guests, which highlighted the exclusivity and significance of the evening and what it stood for. The evening consisted of the following:

  • Relaxed drinks reception.
  • Entertainment from host Patrick Kielty, Birmingham’s poet laureate Matt Windle, electrionic string quartet Escala, magician David Penn, and award-winning musical artist Beverly Knight.
  • Interviews with executive company members.
  • Award ceremony honouring colleagues for their service.

Results:

The event was a brilliant success, and on top of rewarding staff and celebrating a milestone anniversary, over £200,000 was raised for charity partners, Bowel & Cancer Research, as well as other local projects.
