Sustainable Corporate Event Sales & Marketing Conference

Client

Overview

Our client, a global leader in computer accessories, is renowned for creating innovative solutions that enhance productivity and security. Beyond tech, they are committed to Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles, championing sustainable products, ethical manufacturing, and initiatives that promote digital literacy worldwide.

To unite their EMEA Sales & Marketing team, they hosted a three-day conference for 40 attendees across Europe. The goal? Celebrate achievements, strengthen connections, energise the team for the future, and do it all sustainably.

Two people stand smiling and holding drinks at a Sustainability Conference in front of a large, elegant French chateau with pointed towers, stone walls, and tall windows on a sunny day. Trees and outdoor seating are visible nearby. Three people smile and pose with a vintage white and orange car outside a building with large windows and blue shutters, as more vintage cars line the background during a Sustainability Conference. A large group of people stands in front of a historic building with light blue shutters and tall windows, posing for a group photo near the entrance under a glass awning during a sustainable corporate event. A large, elegant French chateau with cream-colored walls, blue shutters, tall arched windows, and pointed turrets hosts a Sustainability Conference beneath intricate rooftop detailing and a clear blue sky.

The Challenge

They needed an event that would:

  • Bring their pan-European team together for collaboration and celebration.

  • Embed sustainability into every element without compromising on experience.

  • Reinforce ESG values in a way that was tangible, engaging, and memorable.

  • Balance business objectives with employee wellbeing and social impact.

Our Solution

We created an experience that put people and sustainability at the heart:

  1. Sustainable Venue Selection

La Maison des Contes in Lyon, ISO 20121 certified and a Société à Mission, offered versatile, eco-conscious spaces, cutting plastics, sourcing locally, and reducing emissions.

  2. Smart logistics & catering

Group transfers, local transport, and seasonal, locally sourced meals reduced the event’s carbon footprint.

  3. Carbon accountability

A full sustainability report tracked impact and enabled them to offset emissions, setting a benchmark for future events.

  4. Team collaboration & culture

Breakout sessions encouraged cross-country teamwork, presentations, and friendly competition. Shared experiences like convertible city tours built memories, strengthened bonds, and immersed attendees in local culture.

  5. Wellbeing & local impact

Thoughtful scheduling ensured time to relax and recharge, while local suppliers contributed positively to the community.

Why

It Worked

The conference didn’t just meet objectives, it amplified them:

  • Employees left energised, inspired, and connected, with stronger cross-country relationships.
  • Sustainability initiatives reduced environmental impact and provided a model for future events.
  • Our client’s ESG principles were visible in action, reinforcing the company’s commitment to people, place, and planet.
  • The event became a culture booster, morale lifter, and tangible proof of responsible leadership, showing that business goals and ESG values can thrive together.
