Having previously taken their top-performing sales colleagues for a no-expense-spared road trip across the USA, this client was looking for an ultra-luxurious and exclusive employee reward event to set the new standard of team reward events. This client came to us with a vision of a VIP, money can’t buy experience for their attendees, as a way to cement loyalty with the best-selling distributors for their business. This event was also an opportunity for these top sellers to network amongst themselves, whilst enjoying some of the most exclusive experiences in the world.



Event overview:

In 6 months, we carefully designed an opulent and luxurious event itinerary, taking these attendees from Milan to Lake Como for a week of non-stop VIP treatment. Rather than flying into Milan and whisking attendees straight to Lake Como, we opted to incorporate an indulgent overnight stay in this gorgeous North Italian hotspot, as a way to extend the luxury and comfort of the event experience. Guests stayed in the incredibly decorated Mandarin Hotel and dined at Aringario with exclusive views of the Duomo. 

The following day, guests were transported to Momi Restaurant for a lakeside lunch, a personal favourite of Lake Como resident George Clooney, before being taken to the Lake Como Mandarin Hotel. The client had previously communicated the importance of fine dining during this experience, so we ensured that all but one dining location had at least one Michelin star throughout the trip. In between private boat trips across the lake, and exclusive tours of Star Wars filming location Barbianello, attendees enjoyed the ultra-exclusive experience of dining at the chef’s table in Tigli Inturia, sampling the highest quality cuisine at family-owned Navedano, and enjoying lunch at a Private Yacht Club on the river. 

The highlight of this opulent trip was the excursion to the Grand Prix in Milan. Guests were whisked away by helicopter to the location, and transported to the centre of the track action, where they were papped like the VIPs they are and treated like F1 royalty.


From start to finish, these guests were completely blown away by this employee reward experience. Our onsite team worked hard to ensure that we were always one step ahead of any attendee need, making sure that each location provided our attendees’ favourite drinks, and going the extra mile with gifting and room drops. Our carefully designed itinerary had the perfect balance of free time to explore and soak in the luxury of this VIP lifestyle, with enough action to keep attendees engaged and entertained. This experience has set the standard of employee reward for this client and is sure to create wider engagement with the brand from suppliers, looking for a chance to experience something similar in the future.
