Our 2020 highlights
Happy new year!
We’re so excited to get stuck into a New Year after a very different 2020! Whilst we embraced and adapted to a virtual world, we are looking forward to the return of live events later in 2021. Read on to find out about some of our highlights of 2020:
We went fully virtual
For over three years now, our team has been working hard to deliver in-house virtual event solutions that allow our clients to benefit from new technologies.
Over recent months the overwhelming demand for virtual events has caused us to increase our virtual offering. This year we have delivered over 100 virtual events from the great virtual bake off to virtual conferences with over 10,000 attendee’s from all over the world, it has been incredible to continue what we do best, whilst expanding our experiences and offerings.

We raised money
When Lockdown 2.0 struck, we knew that there was no chance we would celebrating our 2020 Christmas Party together. As we couldn’t meet as a group, we decided that we would do something together but apart! We missed out on lots of travelling in 2020, so we thought we could combine our love of travel and raising money for charity whilst taking on marathons from across the globe to raise money for two worthy causes.
We were split into 7 groups of 2 to complete the distance of one of the world’s most famous marathons per group (such as London, Boston, Sydney, Athens...).We were aiming to raise £1000 by walking 393 miles (distance of 14 marathons)
In total the team managed to complete 545.41miles, which is the distance of over 20 marathons and raised a total of £1080 for #AndyMansClub and #StGeorgesCrypt!
Explored exciting new destinations
From Singapore to Bangkok and to Mauritius, Athens and New York to name a few – we managed to squeeze in events across the globe before we went into lockdown on the 23rd March 2020. We could not be more excited to dust off our globe-trotting shoes and welcome live events back this year!
In 2019 we made the switch agile working and this served us well in 2020. When Covid-19 hit the United Kingdom, we were all well prepared to work from home (and also a little bit smug at how smoothly we settled in to the home-office set up!)
From ‘you’re on mute!’ being yelled on several zooms to experiencing the year of the ‘corona coaster’- we’ve had some highs and lows but we could not be prouder of our team and how we’ve pulled together in 2020 (alongside some new furry WFH members of the team!)
